What is Accent ?
Accent is able to treat both deeper cellulite and more superficial cellulite. The BiPolar radiofrequency penetrates between 2 to 6 mm of tissue – reaching adipose tissue and cellulite. Heating to these tissue depths therapeutically improves local circulation, promotes fibrous tissue breakdown, and helps to manage areas subject to edema by promoting the re-absorption and drainage of retained fluids and toxins. The immediate effect of this heat is to cause the dermal collagen to contract giving a skin tightening effect.
How is Accent treatment performed ?
Our Doctor will check your medical history and discuss the treatment plan, expectations and desired results. He will examine your body and mark your areas which require treatment. A freehand, dynamic (rubbing) technique is employed using the unipolar handpiece enabling rapid, safe and effective treatment. The Accent handpiece heats the deeper fatty areas of the skin. Heating the skin results in contraction and improvement in skin tightening. The Accent slowly increases the temperature of the targeted area. |
